The Light Within Me That Will Never Go Out

I am an ancient soul who has lived what feels like countless lifetimes, experiencing both masculine and feminine energies. I believe I came to this planet with a specific purpose: to help raise consciousness and frequency through the way I live, the energy I embody, and the light I carry.

There is a certain energy I bring into a room simply by being present. I don’t see this as an ego statement. I see it as frequency. Some people naturally carry an energy that influences the space around them. I call these people frequency anchors—people whose presence can help shift the energy of a room simply by remaining aligned with themselves.

I have reached a new level of awareness around this recently. I have realized that I don’t need to expect everyone else to have the same level of consciousness or frequency that I do. I also don’t need to allow the energy around me to determine my own.

I can put my sword down.

I don’t have to fight what I feel. I don’t have to become angry at the frequencies that surround me. I don’t have to protect my light by fighting someone else’s darkness.

I simply need to shine.

For so long, I felt responsible for the energy around me. I became frustrated, angry, and exhausted trying to understand it, change it, or protect myself from it. Then came an epiphany: my responsibility is not to change everyone else’s frequency. My responsibility is to keep raising my own.

And there is something incredibly freeing about that realization.

I have always been highly intuitive. I can sense the energy of people without them saying a word. I can feel what is happening beneath the surface—the things that aren’t being spoken. Sometimes I can even sense someone’s energy when they aren’t physically present.

But I am learning to experience that sensitivity without judgment.

I no longer need to be angry when I encounter energy that feels false, performative, or disconnected from authenticity. I can see it with compassion. Everyone is on their own journey, carrying their own wounds, fears, defenses, and stories.

And their healing is not my responsibility.

Our frequency is our own responsibility.

I don’t need to fix anyone. I don’t need to convince anyone who I am. I don’t need to defend my character against every story someone creates about me.

People may misunderstand me. They may create stories about my personality. They may decide that I am difficult, bad, or even something I know myself not to be.

I don’t have to fight those perceptions anymore.

Because I know who I am.

And perhaps the greatest freedom is realizing that I don’t need everyone else to see my light for it to exist.

I can simply keep shining.

When I walk into a space, I can bring peace. When I encounter anger, I can choose calm. When I encounter fear, I can choose love. When I encounter darkness, I don’t have to become darkness in order to confront it.

I can remain myself.

Maybe that is the real work.

Not changing everyone around me.

Not proving my worth.

Not fighting every false frequency.

Just continuing to become more aligned, more conscious, more compassionate, and more authentic.

If my presence helps someone heal without them even realizing it, then beautiful. If my energy creates a little more peace in a room, beautiful. If someone isn’t ready to receive it, that’s okay too.

I am not here to force my light onto anyone. I am here to embody it.

Nothing outside of me gets to decide how brightly I shine.

My light is mine.

It has survived every chapter, every loss, every ending, every misunderstanding, and every version of myself I had to leave behind.

And now I understand:

I don’t need to find anything.

I don’t need to fight anything.

I don’t need to fix anyone.

I simply need to keep shining—brighter, brighter, and brighter.

And that feels like true freedom.

Grateful.
