Recalibrating My Frequency

What It Has Taken to Rebuild My Life ✦

This chapter of my life has required more strength, discipline, surrender, and faith than I ever imagined.

Not everything I’ve done has been visible to others. Much of the hardest work has happened quietly — alone, in silence, in tears, in nature, and deep within myself.

Here are some of the things I’m proud of:

Working relentlessly to make my life work, even when I was exhausted and didn’t know what the next step would be.

Giving everything I had to two relationships that ultimately left me in tremendous pain — and still finding gratitude for the lessons, growth, and wisdom they gave me.

Making tremendous sacrifices to remove myself from toxic situations and rebuild from the ground up.

Choosing myself and my inner peace again and again, even when walking away was painful.

Sitting alone in silence for hours each day, learning to be with myself and healing at a deep, core level.

Experiencing grief, tears, loneliness, and a heavy heart — often alone in nature — while learning to release my past with love and compassion, rather than resentment.

Learning new frequency and energetic practices and exploring ways to understand myself on a deeper level.

Listening to self-development books, podcasts, and teachings that continue to expand my awareness.

Creating websites and building new things for my family and myself — reminding myself that I am still capable of creating a future.

Journaling — getting the thoughts out of my head and onto paper so I can understand, process, and release them.

Studying shamanic traditions and exploring spirituality, consciousness, and the unseen dimensions of healing.

Choosing celibacy as an intentional season of returning my energy to myself.

Prioritizing spiritual growth and developing a deeper relationship with my intuition, faith, and inner knowing.

Being there for my girls and supporting them in whatever they need from me.

Practicing self-care — learning that caring for myself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary.

Focusing on longevity and creating a life that supports my future self.

Learning how to sit with grief and deep sadness, including the heartbreak of losing beloved pets, without running from the feelings.

Accepting help from my life coach and learning healthier ways to cope, process emotions, and move through difficult moments.

Holding onto faith that the Divine has a plan for me — even when I cannot see what that plan is — and trusting that I am protected and guided.

Doing physical labor for 5–8 hours a day, seven days a week, and continuing to show up even when my body and mind were tired. Movement is key.

Praying daily with gratitude for the things that can so easily be taken for granted: work, shelter, healthy food, clean air, nature, another day, and simply being alive.

✦ And perhaps most importantly… ✦

I have learned that rebuilding your life isn’t one giant transformation.

It is thousands of tiny choices.

Choosing peace.
Choosing discipline.
Choosing healing.
Choosing gratitude.
Choosing yourself.

Some days, rebuilding looked powerful.

Other days, it looked like simply getting out of bed and making it through.

But I kept going.

And maybe that is the greatest accomplishment of all.

I didn’t give up on myself.
